In 2010, with a desire to bring Bible truth to the airwaves of Statesville, North Carolina, we began purchasing airtime from WSIC, a local talk radio station. Our ministry started with a one-hour program airing during one of the station's most popular times of the day.

Our broadcast aired between the Home Ad Show—a live program where listeners called to sell or trade items—and The Rush Limbaugh Show, a three-hour conservative talk radio program. Because these were two of the station's most popular shows, the hour between them gave us a valuable prime-time audience.

We called our program "The Wisdom Hour." One year later, we added a second Wisdom Hour broadcast on the weekend. Once a month, we also hosted a live program that allowed listeners to call in and ask Bible questions.

Around 2013, Pastor Tim Cove introduced a 15-minute weekday evening program called "Dig a Little Deeper." During each broadcast, Pastor Tim read and discussed passages of Scripture, helping listeners gain a deeper understanding of God's Word.

Over the years, our programs developed a large and faithful listening audience. Many listeners visited our church, and some eventually became members.

In 2024, WSIC was sold to a new owner, and our program was moved to a different time slot. Knowing that this change could significantly affect our audience, we began prayerfully exploring other options.

God had something even greater in mind than we could have imagined. We were given the opportunity to establish our own radio station, and Statesville Christian Radio first went on the air June 6, 2025, on 107.1 FM.

Initially, the station carried Radio 74 programming, which included both Christian music and talk radio. In January 2026, we transitioned to Family First, offering all-talk Christian education programming.

Today, the station is known as 107.1 FM Statesville Christian Talk Radio—Statesville's first all-talk Christian radio station serving Statesville and Troutman.

Our programming features a variety of knowledgeable speakers addressing the biblical truths and practical information that individuals and families need to live healthier lives in body, mind, and spirit.
